Meet Mandi      

        Mandi Pickens is a graduate from Cal Poly’s City and Regional Planning program with emphasis on Real Estate Development. Notably she has 13 years working in the private planning sector in SLO County assisting and managing multi million dollar projects. Mandi has also worked in construction management overseeing large residential developments and held her real estate license assisting clients with finding suitable properties in SLO County for their projects. Most significantly she has managed up to 50 projects monthly and successfully obtained entitlement for a variety of projects such as wineries, event venues, subdivisions, mixed use projects, commercial centers, cannabis permits, vacation rentals and more (portfolio upon request).

Mandi holds a California Real Estate License (#01937268) and aids both realtors and clients in finding properties based on the type of business they would like to develop. Her assets in helping people during the escrow process is key! It is important that every client is aware of any constraints or opportunities during their search and purchase of a suitable property. Furthermore, after closing, she is able to manage a project from start, thru entitlements (permits) to finish. Information for sellers’ pamphlets are also available to help showcase opportunities for property listings in order to gain the most attention in the competitive real estate market.

In Mandi’s spare time she serves as an Architectural Review Commissioner for the City of San Luis Obispo. This is a four year term appointed by the City Council. Of course that isn’t all she does in her spare time as there is always time for outdoor adventures, traveling and watching sports with her family.

        Overall, Mandi is able to provide an additional insight for property developers as she has multi faceted expertise in the real estate, planning and construction field. Her experience gives an extra strategic angle on projects and relationships with public sector staff provides each client with assurance through the often difficult permit process.
